Christmas in New York is beautiful! It is crowded but breathtaking.
Radio City Music Hall is a must if you never have been there. Just walking
down fifth avenue at that time of year is a Wonderland. I wanted to see
the Lion King on Broadway but tickets are not available until January. I
am an ex New Yorker and loved the place because of the many good things to
see and do, e.g., Metropolitan Museum of Art, Guggenheim Museum, FAO
Schwartz for the kids, and this year they are opening the restaurants on
either side of the ice rink in Rockefeller Center which is a must. Try to
get a window seat, so you can see the beautiful Christmas tree and people
ice skating. I worked directly across from Macy's as an executive secretary
with a costume jewelry firm, and on Thanksgiving Day, everyone from the
office would come in to get a perfect view of the Thanksgiving Day Parade.
It would make a GTG, don't you think? Elaine in the Philadelphia, Pa.
