--Arthur, you don't say how you'll be travelling down to Sicily, so I
would like to offer this tip, which would allow you to stop in Naples too:
you can take a ferry from Naples to Palermo, leaving around 8:00 or 8:30 pm,
and arriving in Palermo 12 hours later. It's a great way to get there.
