Subject: Re: East Coast at Christmas
As you know there are many wonderful restaurants in New York City. Restaurant prices have been rising which are now very high. A moderately priced restaurant, without wine, but with tip and taxes is easily $50 per person. If you describe the type of cuisine you would like, which area you would prefer and your budgetary parameters, I will be happy to recommend a few restaurants for you. If memory serves, the Wellington Hotel is very close to Carnegie Hall. There is no shortage of marvelous restaurants in that area--with prices to match.
