Subject: Re: East Africa

My brother just returned from a safari to Tanzania and he was very impressed by the tour company with which he contracted. It is called Kibo Safaris. You can see their offerings and prices at The accommodations were not luxurious, but the service and attentiveness to the needs of the travellers was first class. The guides took the tour group to several national parks in Tanzania and one in Kenya. Billy saw all of the big 5 wild animals, but he said that the highlight was a day trip to visit a very primitive African tribe. Per his endorsement, you cannot beat the value for the money. They will even arrange a hotel in Arusha (the starting point) for the day you arrive and the day you leave.

One word of caution - the tour consists of many 6-8 hour days spent with 5-6 others in a Land Cruiser driving through the parks searching for wildlife. You had better get along with your fellow safari members because you will be spending a lot of time together!
