|Subject: Another Introduction...|
I joined the list a week ago &have been lurking with interest until now. It seems a very knowledgeable &friendly group. Well done.
My name is Paul &I hail from Adelaide, Australia. To date I am yet to quench my thirst for overseas travel (but have roamed extensively across the home turf). My wife, Rachel, and I had planned a jaunt through Europe a couple of years ago but had to change plans upon the news of an addition to the household (our son Ryan).
No matter, this coming June was to see us finally cross the equator ... that is until offspring #2 checked in with an arrival date of March '01.
So here goes attempt number 3! We felt that the sites of Europe &the UK should take a back seat until the young ones reach an age where they would appreciate it - so we are planning a 15 day trip through Morocco. The itinerary takes in 3 of the main cities (Fes/Fez, Marrakesh/Marrakech &Rabat) as well as a 4 day trek through the Todra Gorge. (I hasten to add this trip won't be including the pitter-patter of tiny feet!).
The group we are travelling with is Explore - Worldwide. Has anyone heard of or used them before? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. As would any alternative trekking type outfits you may have used in the past. Actually, any Moroccan information would be handy for a first timer like myself.
Take care, Paul
