Dear Guillermo,

There are plenty of sites in Puerto Rico, but the following are probably the most popular:

The El Morro fort overlooking San Juan Bay - beautiful views, great history. You can opt to wander thru on your own or take a tour (I think the tours are inexpensive). Definitely worth a few hours. Afterwards take in Old San Juan.

Old San Juan itself is great for wandering - the architecture is terrific and there are some interesting shops, museums, etc. There are also plenty of touristy shops, but don't get discouraged. I personally think the beauty of the old city outweighs the tourist haunts.

The El Convento hotel is a nice place to stop for a drink at the end of the day. It is a restored convent - just beautiful - in the old city. Nice place for dinner, too.

All the hotels along Condado have casinos and plenty of nightlife, if you are interested. The El San Juan hotel in Isla Verde near the airport is famous for its spectacular lobby - unbelieveable! It also has some great restaurants.

The Barcardi rum factory is probably an all-day (maybe just all afternoon!) trip. It is located across the bay (you need to take a ferry - they probably have directions at your hotel). It's a great place - beautiful gardens, interesting tour - wonderful rum!

Hope this helps a bit - enjoy!
