Thank you Marco for your advice :)
I wanted to visit Ankara and Cappadocia too.. I am skipping it because I don't have time to see everything... and also the weather issue. It would be December/January when I visit. I have about 9 days to go from Antalya to Istanbul, and I love the ocean.... that's why I wanted to visit coastal places along the way. It might rain on me, but probably not as cold as inlands. So here is my plan... I probably won't get to visit some sites I so want to see, but I can always come back and see more if I like it. it's impossible to see everything anyhow...
oh, by the way, I visited Milan in summer this year and absolutely loved it. it was funny how it turned out.. I really didn't plan to visit Italy at all, not that i wasn't interested (i always fantasized about going there), but I didn't think i had time to do it. I didn't even have a guidebook on Italy, let alone phrese book. well, I managed the time and made a quick visit to Milan, Venice, Sorrento and Amalfi(did i say i like the ocean?) . the rest of the places I would have to do it on another tour... In Milan, I loved Duomo, took some wonderful pictures from up the roof... there are some great architectures in Milan. I wasn't all that interested in visiting Milan to tell you the truth (I am more small town oriented... being grown up in Tokyo, i am a little fed up with cities), but it was great. Italy.. oh, Italy. I would have to go back again!!
too many places to visit, too little time...
Happy travelling all, Sue
