Subject: Re: Ireland
Hi Kim. I have found a great page with information about both train and bus schedules : http://www.cie.ie I have lived in Ireland a couple of years, and I have to tell you that the train transportation has a small problem : the central hub is Dublin. So, if for example, you are in Tralee or Cork and you want to travel to Galway, you have to go all the way up to Dublin and then back to Galway. Due to this, buses are more popular as a mean of transportation. I wouldn´t recommend you to drive. I had done it, and it is not easy during winter, with the rain and the right hand driving. Also, regarding the weather. At the beginning expect cold. Because of the humidity, it feels colder as in central Europe. Then, May is the beginning of the irish summer, long days and gorgeous fields. If I can help you, please ask me.
