Hi Judy, I live in Miami (Beach) and should be able to help you.! :-)
For one thing Miami Int Airport is not far from Miami Beach for instance,only
20' by car, a taxi would be more or less 25 dollars ,there is also a shuttle
service at 11 p/p. If you have a map you can see that road 112 takes you
directly in a straight line to the Julia
Tuttle Cswy across the bay and into Miami Beach at the 40's street area.
This area is full of hotels with a lovely beach. However I noticed that
you wish to do some shopping...,
.... there are a couple of Shopping Malls near the airport but neither
are good shopping's malls, just so, so.
Tell me a bit more about how much time you ll have exactly in the Miami area in order to be able to give you better inf. Graziella Miami Beach. PS I think that one of the more pleasant hotels near the airport is the Sofitel, 5800 Blue Lagoon Drive 305 264 4888 fax 305 261 7871(280 rooms) also the Hilton I believe is nice, also at Lagoon Drive 5101, phone 305/262 1000 fax 305 265 3910 ( 5oo rooms) |
