Rail News: A new high-speed express rail service linking Moscow and St. Petersburg made its debut Sunday, cutting travel time between the cities in half.When it is fully operational, there will be trains leaving from Moscow and St. Petersburg in the morning and evening. Electric locomotives will be able to reach speeds of up to 180 km/h on sections of track that have been renovated to handle high-speed trains.
