As the ticket name suggests, you are expected to fly round the world with a minimum of 3 stops, in one direction, restricted on a certain number of airlines (like OneWorld or StarAlliance or WorldPerks), and an additional fee is paid for each additional stop. It's way cheaper than paying for a point to point ticket, but then again, restrictions apply (no backtracking, restricted airlines, one yer validity). This is probably a brief of what is actually is. Your travel professional would definitely be in a better position to advise as certain carriers have different rules.
