Subject: Back from the holidays
Hello everybody. I would like to congratulate all of us for making it into the new Millenium.

Having survived two weeks of celebrations (they finished last Saturday with the Epiphany, and the presents brought to us by the Three Wise Men), I visited yesterday an exhibition at the BBVA in the Old Town of Bilbao. This is an interesting building from the middle of the XIX century, built in a Second Empire style. There is still a bank office, but half of it has been converted into an exhibition hall. Every year there is an interesting exhibition from various art galleries around the world. Last year we saw Masterworks from the Tretiakov Collection, from Moscow. This year the current exhibition is called From Goya to Sorolla : works from the Hispanic Society. It was held in Madrid last autumn, it will be in Bilbao until next February, and from March to May, if anyone of you is heading to Sevilla, you will find it in the Hospital de Venerables. Entry is free.

If not, and you are near New York, think about visiting it:
