Subject: Re: Driving in Europe
I have driven through Normandy and Brittany and the Loire Valley twice and had no problem with other drivers at all. Since the countryside is so beautiful and the towns so spread out there is little congestion and a very peaceful type of mental attitude that seems to carry over to the drivers. I find US road conditions frankly a lot more challenging in this regard. My experience in Italy was quite stressful on the other hand and though I would do it again I would not look forward to much. Lots of tailgating at high speeds etc. Good luck in France. That whole area has lots to see including many Castles that are a lot of fun. Best to you, Thomas Prosser
