Subject: Re: digital camera advice?
Hi Erina,

I have a Kodak DC210 Plus. It's small enough to fit in a fannypack or purse, and it has a zoom lens, which I really like. It's basically a point-and-shoot, but it does have the LCD screen. It uses a memory card, and you can buy ones that hold lots of photos. I wouldn't say it has long battery life, but just bring extra batteries for it. It takes 4 AA batteries, so they are easy to find.

I really like it. It's easy to use, you can easily delete photos, they transfer easily to my computer. There are other cameras that have fancy options, like vocal recording (which might be good to keep track of where you are keeping the photos) but I didn't need that.

However, that all said, I still travel with a film camera. I still have a fear of deleting all my photos accidentally! But as long as you are careful, I'm sure you'll be fine!

Hope this helps.
