Subject: Re: digital camera advice? |
Hi Erina
Last year I purchased a Canon Ixus S100 digital Camera, with 2.1 Mega Pixel CCD. It is very small, about the size of a credit card, and is fitted with an LCD screen, plus zoom. Basic software is included as well as well as a small 8mb flash card. I always, well so far anyway, take photographs on the highest resolution. This allowed me to take 10 photos using the 8m card and 60+ on a 48mb card. It has its own rechargeable battery. I took it along with me on our South Island holiday. As this was the first time that I had used a digital camera, I did not rely on it completely, my wife carried a 35mm as well as a digital handycam. I must say that the camera is extremely easy to operate and the results were outstanding. I purchased a card reader, which saves time when downloading to the PC. While on holiday I purchased a small soft case with belt loops. This worked fine but I am not to sure whether it would it make too easy for pick pockets. I hope this is of some help.
