Be sure to go to the Raffles Hotel. It's fun and the curry in the Tiffin is
fabulous. The Grill is also very good. The vendors that used to be on the
streets are gathered together indoors in several areas. It's a great
opportunity to sample the many various foods. There is a gondola trip
that although it's touristy, provides a great view. In Bangkok, the noon
buffet at the Orient Hotel is terrific as is a longboat taxi ride down the river.
You can get one from the pier at the Orient. Don't miss a trip to a
temple. The rituals outside are very interesting.
