Subject: Re: Alaska Marine Highway
I took the Alaska Marine Hwy from Prince Rupert to Skagway &back. It is great...super scenery, lots of wildlife, good, simple, reasonably-priced food, cabins were plain but adequate. Great way to travel. Driving to Prince Rupert &taking the ferry from there, IMO, is a good way to save money on the fare, see some good scenery driving up through Canada. Prince Rupert has a nice little museum, too. Not much scenery from Bellingham to Prince Rupert on the ferry. It's also easier to get a reservation from Prince Rupert than from Bellingham.

Any other questions?
