|Subject: Virgin Islands vs Key West|
I've been to both, and believe me, I would jump at the chance to go back to
the Virgin Islands!!
Totally different types of landscapes - VIs have mountainous terrain, superb diving/snorkeling (all sorts of colorful fish &coral), and neat boats/seaplanes to island jump in. St. Thomas has a lot of nightlife, even history, and St. Johns (both of these in US Virgin Islands) is almost all National Park (I think). I have only visited Ana Gada (sp?), British Tortola on the British side.
Key West is fun, more city life, but the diving/snorkeling is okay (only 1 color of coral), totally flat limestone landscape, but also good nightlife and activities.
