|Subject: Tips for enjoying the finer things on a budget AND a question|
Here's the URL for a Frommer's article with some money saving tips for
enjoying the finer things when you're traveling but still staying on a
budget. I thought there were some good tips here:
I'd be curious to know, though... one of his tips suggested each person ordering an appetizer, then splitting the main dish and the dessert. I would be happy to do that, as my husband and I often do that in the states, and still end up having more food than we need. Since I'm diabetic, I'm limited as to how much I can eat, so this makes great sense for us. However, I've read in other sources, that this is frowned upon in Europe, as a whole. What are your thoughts about this practice? Accepted or frowned upon?
