Subject: Re: Leatherman
I have travelled with two Leathermans for years. One is packed in my checked bag but the other one (a Micra)is normally in my pocket. Until I hit the metal scanners and then I put in in the bowls opened with the scissors out. Only once has the item been questioned. For some reason, no one has condidered the scissors any threat (very small) and it tends to make them ignore the other deadly aspects of the tool. This tip was given to me by a security checkpoint guard once upon a time. Scissors, small and blunt, aren't viewed as a threat. Rudy in NC
