Subject: Films that made us travel
When my husband and I decided to go to Great Britain several years ago, we rememebered a cute movie we had seen the previous year- The Englishman who went up a hill and came down a mountain. The movie is based in a small village in Wales during World War One. We did a little research and found the name of the village in Wales where most of it was filmed (Llanraedr ym Mochnant). We spent a couple of days in Wales just because of that film, and it was the best part of our trip! We stayed at a wonderful bed and breakfast, explored the tallest waterfall in Wales (which I proceeded to fall into the base of), and visited Canaerfon Castle as well as the oldest church in Wales. (I'm sure I spelled most of those places wrong!)
