Subject: Re: Re: Taormina in July

It's been a few years, but my daughter &I stayed at at the Bel Sogiorno, down the hill out of the main town about a quarter mile, toward the rail station. It was inexpensive &the views of the sea &maybe the volcano (I think this was the place where we could see it from our windows) were stunning. It was really a short walk up to the town because there are pedestrian stairways. The rooms had high ceilings, there was a little garden terrace for guests (altho it was December &there weren't that many of us!), &staff was friendly. We were backpacking around Sicily &used our stay at Taomorina for some urban time &it was just perfect.
