Communal seating is terrific! We weren't complaining about that nor that we weren't offered a printed menu. But when the waiter is too busy to tell you what's available that night, the concept doesn't work.

Latini has been mentioned in some guidebooks and business is so good that the quality of the experience is suffering.

We don't consider ourselves experts but we know good value involves a total experience and judging Latini by that standard, it failed.
