|Subject: Lake Garda West Coast|
The most interesting towns on west coast are Riva del Garda and Limone del Garda (far north) while Gardone Riviera and Salo' are more easily accessible from the south side. If you like strange places and imaginative poets, don't miss in Gardone Riviera the villa of Gabriele D' Annunzio, a famous Italian poet of the beginning of 20th century, located high on the hills with a wonderful scenery. Its rooms are full of artworks, worldwide souvenirs, strange objects he collected and obsessively arranged around him. If you haven't time to go north-west, the south side towns of Desenzano, and of course Sirmione, are lovely as ever to walk through and to spend a lot of money in their shops!
Have a nice trip.
