|Subject: Lockers in Paris Stations|
last fall I used the storage room at Gare du Nord. It wasn't as easy as some years ago, when you just handed your baggage over the counter. Now you have to go through an airport-like x-ray security control and the lockers are coin-operated. There's a window for getting bills changes if you haven't coins and the lockers come in 3 sizes, the biggest one can really accomodate any piece of luggage. Written English instructions everywhere and helpful attendants make things easy. If I remember well the tariff was about 20 FF for one locker/one day. I haven't been at the Gare de Lyon in a long time, but I guess it works in the same way.
