Debra Weber Kurt Weber asked:

1. Your favorite UK places and why (London is a given, so you needn't mention it)

Any place on a canal, on a narrow boat. By far the best way to see the countryside and really get to know people, and an inexpensive holiday.

Cornwall, in and around Boscastle. Somewhat removed from the heavily tourist areas, and beautiful.

Almost anywhere in Wales, but particularly the Llangollen area.

Kent and the Thames Valley - beautiful farm areas.

The Lake Country

2. Your favorite month to visit Britain.

September and October - fewer people, good weather, fall color. Definately not July, when everyone else goes there.
