Automatic transmission cars can be much more expensive. I just looked
at Autoeurope's web site and a manual midsize was $360US for a week, while
the comparable automatic midsize was $627US for a week. Maybe, prices
could be better after telephoning Autoeurope, but the website price differences
are huge. Also, types of cars available with automatic are limited.
Retirement - what's that? Just sell it all, buy a farm house in Italy - your days will be so full, you won't have to think about retirement.
