Subject: Spain
Hi ,I only wish to stress the point that Spain is a fantastic destination....My advise is:do not visit only those place in the beaten track that everybody seems to go to, ...., there are so many charming fantastic towns with such a wealth of art, culture, and tradition.... Spain is much more than Madrid, and Barcelona, and Andalucia and Santiago, and the Guggenheim,....I am thankful to John and Susie who encouraged us to visit the Pyrenees, we only touched the tip of the ice berg we are looking forward to return,...... Navarra, Castilla y Leon, Aragon, so many charming places,..... and the spas, called in Spain Balnearios as Covadonga explained to me, we really enjoyed the one we wentin Cataluna, and found out to our delight that the water of the hotel pool was thermal, hot water, those water jets, !!!!! it was a joy, and all the massages etc were the best and the cost low, low... Food in Spain was so delicious, being Spring, the strawberries, asparragus, artichokes where present in most menus joining those delicious Spanish fishes, covered by golden garlic, and sea food, gambas, quid, octupus, etc,red meats, tiny ,tiny ,lamb chops poultry games, ....delicious...not to speak of rice paellas, and some kind of paella done with thin pasta and wild mushrooms in La Seu d'Urgell,...we were lucky to enjoy the food of several young semi well known chefs, making their reputation.... As in previous trips we found the paradores a tremendous buy, they are reaso ble priced and very often we were able to take advantage of their offers : the luxury room, with outstanding breakfasts and parking amounted to somo 70 dollars.

So Buena suerte do not follow the beaten track and you will be delighted by Spanish hospitality.Graziella Miami Beach. I take my hat to Spain, ....
