Hi Baerbel,

I noticed you were visiting the Camargue, we stayed at the following hotel in Ste Maries-de-la-Mer. I have included a small description of the hotel.

Hotel Lou Marques, Address: rue du Vibre. Description: Breakfast was the only meal provided, at a cost of 30ff. the staff spoke some English, but they were neither friendly nor helpful. The tariff was 300ff per room per night. There wasn't a secure car park but free parking was available next door. Except for the attitude of the desk staff , we considered that the hotel was good value for money. Phone: +33 4 90978289 Fax: +33 4 90977224 In the Tarn Gorge we stayed at Chateau de la Caze, A three star hotel which was originally a 15th century castle. You would have got details of this hotel from the data-base. We also stayed at a hotel in a quiet picturesque town of Florac which is one of the last towns before you enter the gorge. I have included details of this hotel also, in case you are interested. Hotel Gorges du Tarn, Address: 48 rue du Pecher. Phone: +33 4 66450063 Fax: +33 4 66451056 Description: The room was a good size and it had recently been re-decorated. The staff were friendly and efficient. There was a restaurant on the premises which served breakfast as well as dinner. Secure parking was available within the hotel grounds. The cost was 280ff per room per night. The only problem was the height that the only plug in the room was situated. It was high up near the ceiling to provide power for the TV. We did not have an extension cord, which would have been necessary should we had found it necessary to use power. That aside, we were pleased with our choice.

Looks like a great itinerary, have an excellent trip.
