As frequent visitors to Switzerland, I hope you do not
miss Muerren. We think that is the most beautiful
place in the world--and this is quoting the late
Sydney Clark in his All the Best in Switzerland.
You don't have to take any more gondolas or trams once
you are there, as it is all right in front of you--the
Monch, Jungrau, and the Eiger, and it seems as though
you could touch them. Next trip to Switzerland we may
stay in Muerren for a whole week. That was what we
did the first time we went to this area in 1982. We
have searched for a spot to equal Wengen and Muerren
since then, but never have found it.
