I know that United Airlines had those templates placed in the San
Francisco Airport, but they were sued by other airlines that were not
so strict. The suit claimed unfair competition and discrimination of
other airlines requirements. The other airlines won the suit and
United was suppose to have the templates removed.
Each airline does have a different requirement for the measurement of the carry ons, since they use different equipment. Some have larger luggage bins than others. If anything they should ban some of the strange things that people insist on shoving in those bins. Ryan James Modesto, CA but not for long... |
