Subject: Re:Chicago
We have always loved the architectural walks with the Chicago Architectural Foundation on Michigan Avenue, just south of the Art Institute. It might be a bit cool for the River Cruise in October, but that is a pleasant way of recovering from all the walking you're bound to do in the Windy City. We've also taken the Frank LLoyd Wright tour, but our favorites were the 2 downtown Skyscraper tours (before and after 19??). Also, a trip to Chicago wouldn't be complete without a live performance of some sort. We prefer Second City, but there are many, plus a late night Jazz Club (the Back Room, if you can stand the smoke!)
