Subject: Rome Questions
Hi Ziners

We leave for Rome in 9 days (!) and the rush to get ready, coming as it does upon the heels of my daughter leaving for New York last Friday, is wild. I have a couple of questions that some of you may be able to answer. I hope so.

I have read that the bookstore chain Feltrinelli in Rome sells a book on Rome that is similar to a London A to Z, or a Paris par Arrondissement. I would like to know if anyone has purchased one of these, and also if anyone knows where a branch of Feltrinelli close to Piazza Navona/ Piazza di Spagna area might be.

I am also interested in knowing if anyone has eaten at or heard of a restaurant called, I believe, the Porto di Ripetta, via Ripetta, near the Piazza del Popolo. I ate there 6 years ago and thought it was fabulous. Gorgeous, delicious, sophisticated and understated. Back then, the prix fixe menu was affordable, but not inexpensive. I would love to know if this place still exists, and is still good.
