|Subject: Toronto GTG (was: Novotel Toronto)|
The Novotel is way downtown, behind the Hummingbird Centre, near the St. Lawrence Market, The Hockey Hall of Fame and Union Station. Last time you stayed in the Church Street area south of Bloor, as I recall.
Lou just reserved at the four-star Hotel Intercontinental on Bloor Street, just west of Avenue Road. It's going to cost her about 130 USD plus taxes (which are refundable to tourists). The Intercontinental is just a short walk from Yorkville, the best boutique area in the city, with indoor and outdoor shops and eateries. The Royal Ontario Museum, Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Arts, the University of Toronto and the Bata Shoe Museum are all nearby.
Sounds like we're going to have another amazing get-together - the count-me-ins are rolling in! We're going to finally get to meet some folks we've known for years (on the Net). Looking forward to seeing you again.
