Subject: Re[4]: Raphael Hotel, Chicago
Hello J.,

Thanks. The website says that a cab costs $30. As I said, sadly we won't be taking much advantage of the location other than it is in the area we want to start off from Saturday. But the rooms look great (I agree about website photos).

Fodors highly recommends it and writes: Originally a dorm for nursing students, this 1920s building on a wealthy residential side street near Water Tower Place retains its honest charm. The spacious, comfortable rooms have a quirky style, with chaise longues, sitting areas, and arched entries. Obliging service, terry-cloth robes, and attractive weekend packages are among the features that draw a loyal following. AE, D, DC, MC, V. 99 rooms, 73 suites. Restaurant/Food, Bar, Business Services

One thought I just had, is that I shall probably need a bite to eat -- fast food, not restaurant, any idea if there will be any place within a couple of blocks or so? Helen probably won't want anything.
