Marks suggestion to take Lake Shore Drive south to 90 (the Skyway) to 80 is right on the mark, no pun intended. It is a beautiful drive and much less congested than 94. If you can spare several hours, before reaching your destination, Helen would enjoy the Museum of Science and Industry at the 57 street exit.
