|Subject: Paris transport|
Dear Barb in Michigan,
When I was commuting back and forth between Paris and the US for work, I often used the Roissybus. It is akin to a tour coach - clean and comfortable. Pick up and drop off is next to the American Express office on Rue Scribe just off the side of the Opera Garnier - you cannot get any closer to an ATM or money exchange to pick up FFr for the cab ride to the hotel if needed. My notes say that the Roissybus leaves from outside gate 32.
I believe that the hotel web site's reference to acces direct Aeroport Roissy/par RER B means that you can take the short free shuttle from gate 28 at CDG Roissy to the RER B line station and from there to the Chatelet/Les Halles station which is a short distance from your hotel and closer than the Roissybus at Opera. But if you prefer not to take a train, the Roissybus plus walking or a short cab ride to the hotel would be an easy and economical alternative.
Have a great trip! Mark Los Angeles, CA
