Hi Margaret:
We have just returned from our second barge trip in Southern France. We
hired a 42 foot self-drive barge for a week on the Canal du Midi although
time constraints limited our trip to five days. There were 6 of us and the
barge was advertised as capable of 8 plus 2 in four cabins and a salon. It
was perfect for six. I will be publishing our log within the next couple of
weeks. We are already planning next year's barge trip. You can contact me
