|Subject: Any suggestions about Australia.|
I would be only too happy to help you with any must see ideas about Sydney,
but it is very difficult to know where to start. The city of Sydney itself,
our harbour and its many foreshore attractions are obvious, I suppose,
from there, it depends on where you are staying.
If you are staying in the city, at the very least, take the ferry to Manly,
then catch a Palm Beach Bus. The bus ride will take about an hour, and
will take you past the northern beach suburbs of Sydney. Along the way,
you will spot Pittwater which marks the beginning of the Penninsula. At
Palm Beach. there are some nice cafes and restaurants (The Beach Road
Restaurant, one of my all time faves) and the Barrenjoey lighthouse to
climb and have a look at (if you have the energy). The beach itself is
absolutely spectacular, and you can see up the coastline for many many
There is also a wonderful sea-plane trip from Sydney to Palm Beach, which
I believe is extremely popular.
The Blue Mountains, The Opera House, Bondi and Manly Beach, and Darling
Harbour are must sees, as is our National Art Gallery.
Please do not hesitate to contact me directly if you need any help while
you are in Sydney.
Have fun, Michelle Stewart
