What a nostalgia trip to read Don's report on Portugal. Four of us did
more or less the same trip two years running as we loved the north so
much. The first time we flew into Lisbon but the second year directly
to Porto and, like Don, loved Porto. To find a treasure like Amarante
was wonderful. If you are going anywhere near Mafra there is a incredible
monastery which was used by royalty as their summer home - well worth
a visit.
