Well, the day has finally arrived. We leave tomorrow for our three week trip through Argentina and Chile. Our ambitious itinerary has us visiting Buenos Aires, Iguazú Falls, Peninsula Valdés, El Calafate and Glacier National Park, Torres del Paine National Park, Punta Arenas, Puerto Montt, Chiloé, the Chilean Lake District, and Santiago. We'll be traveling by plane, train, automobile, bus, and ferry (who knows, maybe a horse and a llama thrown in for good measure). I'll try and discipline myself upon my return to regale you with a reasonable travelogue.

In the event that anybody missed previous notices there will be a Travelzine Get-to-gether in Buenos Aires Monday evening Oct. 22 at 8:00pm. If you are in the area you are welcome to join myself, my wife Sara, and our two local Argentine Ziners, María Clara Giordano and Guillermo L. González. We will be meeting in the lobby of the Hotel Esmeralda Palace near the corner of Esmeralda and Lavalle; Esmeralda 527/43. Once gathered we will move along to an as yet to be selected café or restaurant nearby.
