|Subject: Re: Nice, France|
I was in Nice this past June for a few days. I want to add my two cents about visiting the Cours Saleya for the market. It is a highlight. Go there to eat! There are wonderful pastry, cheese, fruit, candy stalls which hopefully will be open in late March. Also find Therese to sample a local dish called socca that she makes. Ask around for her stall and enjoy this warm and very tasty pancake made from chick pea flower and prepared over open flame on what looks like a steel drum! Bring home some lavender sachet from the market and remember your time on the Riveria.
If you do go to Monaco make time for the Botantical Garden. It is quite a hike as it sits cliffside and involves winding you way up and down. Lovely views from there.
