|Subject: Re: Can we talk- Williamsburg Plan|
I have begun planning a trip to Colonial Williamsburg for Thanksgiving 2002. My paternal grandparents lived in Williamsburg, so I have visited before, though I have never stayed on property.
So far, I have made room reservations at Williamsburg Lodge for 4 nights. We wish to spend one day seeing Jamestown and Yorktown. I can add more days later, I wonder if we should plan for at least 5 nights.
Our history-loving daughter (seven, nearly eight by that time) will actually want to see a great deal of the historic site. We plan to dine at the taverns, particularly for Thanksgiving Day. My husband will want to go on the Christmas decoration tour, and I know there will be other special holiday events.
What advice do Ziners have?
