Hi Ziners: There is a marvelous program in our area where members of various
Jewish groups volunteer to replace Christian personnel in non-demanding,
non-highly skilled jobs in the fire and police depts. on Christmas Eve
and Christmas Day doing routine chores, so that these personnel can spend
the time with their families and churches. I don't know if there is anything
like that already in place in New York that Cat might join up with. I
so admire her spirit and desire to help; she gives all of us something
to think about as we travel. Pat
