I would also recommend a drive to Lancaster PA to see the Pennsylvania Germans (Amish and Mennonites). The drive is not too long (I guess 45 minutes each way). If you go on Sunday than almost all the stores and museums will be closed. Most restaurants will be closed. However, you will see many PA Germans going to church on Sunday.

I heard that a Japanese Tea House is in Reading. But I don't know where.
