Subject: Iceland and Greenland
Sara, Iceland Air used to be the ONLY way to travel to Europe from the States because of their comparatively inexpensive fares and all the European cities they served via Reykjavik. The fare wars have cut into their pricing advantage somewhat, and the cities they fly to have been reduced a bit. Iceland Air still goes to London, Glasgow, Paris, Oslo, Stockholm (as you mentioned), Hamburg, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen. To me, this is a wonderful way to fly to Europe because you have the opportunity if you wish to stop over and see Iceland either on the way over or on the way back (or both). Cyndy - NY
