Subject: Tipping in France

Jude: My British friends get upset when we overtip. They say that waiters don't expect it from Europeans, but they like to see Americans for we are notorious overtippers. The difference between here and there seems to be that in the US waiters depend on tips whereas over there they do not. Tom
