|Subject: Home from South America|
Hello fellow Travelziners,
We arrived home yesterday from our three week sojourn through the Southern Cone- Argentina and Chile. Beautiful scenery, friendly people, delicious cuisine, and life-long memories. Isn't this what travel is all about?
>From the squawking of toucans silhouetted against a jungle sunset at Iguazu Falls to the undulating swimming of penguins off the bow of our ferry on the way to Chiloe, Chile; from the dulce de leche filled cubanitos purchased in front of the Casa Rosada of Buenos Aires to the fresh raspberry-filled kuchen consumed at Frutillar along the shores of Lago Llanquihue; from a delightful three-hour meal shared with fellow Travelziners in Buenos Aires to an impromptu English lesson with a conductor on an overnight train between Temuco and Santiago it was every moment an adventure.
How is that for a tease? A full travelogue is in the process of being written. But please be patient this will take some time.
We'd like to extend our thanks to all for the help given in making this such an incredible trip.
