Subject: Re: Train tickets through travel agent
Speaking as a travel agent now, I use RailEurope all the time to purchase tickets for myself &clients. They charge a $10 shipping charge &the tickets, rail passes always arrive in one or two days. I think their prices are fair although there are not always senior discounts on individual tickets. I usually suggest my clients make their own train reservations for the premier trains, tho, once they get to Europe, unless it's a really busy time of year. RailEurope charges $11 a seat which seems a bit high. But they are so convenient, I agree, Bill. It's nice to have ticket in hand & ready to go instead of having to worry about shopping for tickets in Europe. Sometimes a $1 or 2 is worth it in less stress.
