Susie Newton, MA When I worked in Paris (1997), I do not recall that there was a door-to-door shuttle service at CDG like what we are used to here in the States. The options were taxi (cost should be 225-250 FFr to the city center), the Air France bus (55 FFr) or the Roissybus (50 FFr). The Air France bus dropped you off at the Etoile or Porte de Maillot Metro stations from where you could take a cab to your hotel. Similarly, the Roissybus stopped at the American Express travel office on Rue Scribe near the Opera and you could easily hail a cab in this busy area.
